The Alpha Industries N3B Parka was created in the 1950's for the troops of the US Air Force who were transporting troops in extremely cold conditions. The original N3B Parka was lined with fur to keep the troops warm throughout there journey from often sub zero temperatures coupled with its long cut and robust materials coupled with it's fur lined hood and slanted pockets have a zip and loops across to keep the wind out. The Modern version of the N3B Parka has changed by having a slim fit and being constructed from 100% nylon outer and a polyfil nylon lining and the hood is made from a synthetic mouton fur and features adjustable drawstrings. The N3B Parka also features a reinforced elbow patches for added strength and design coupled with the full length storm flap to keep the rain and snow out.
